Recipes

Self-made burger patties

+1
−0

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • One bun
  • One egg
  • Frying oil
  • (Cheese)

The recipe yields five to six patties depending on how big you make them.

Equipment

  • Big bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Pan
  • Spatula

Instructions

  • Put the bun into the small bowl and fill it up with water. Let the bun sit until it's thoroughly soaked with water. (To help put it down you can put a glass or something else onto it.)
  • Preheat the minced meat a little bit.
  • Put the egg into the big bowl and beat it a bit.
  • Add the minced meat into the big bowl.
  • Tear up the bun and put the small bread bits into the bowl with the meat and the egg.
  • Mix everything up.
  • Form patties of any size.
  • Preheat the pan to high heat with a little bit of frying oil, not too much or it will splatter quite a bit.
  • Use a spatula to put the patties into the pan. (Don't try to grab them, they will just fall apart.)
  • Fry the patties until they are moderately brown.
  • Turn the patties and wait until the are moderately brown.
  • Repeat two times until you have a nice brownish texture.
  • (On the last iteration, you can add cheese directly on top of the patty - it will melt this way and gets very creamy.)
  • Enjoy!
